This past weekend Rûens Kollege in the Overberg region of the Western Cape, with the help of parents, volunteers & sponsors, contributed to the upliftment of the Bredasdorp community by introducing the area’s young athletes to Laser-Run, Triathle and Biathle. The initiative aims to inspire the youth to push beyond their limitations and empower them to rise out of their daily circumstances through the power of sport.
At the event, the kids each received a goody-bag with a peak cap, t-shirt, some snacks, as well as a swimming costume, along with other treats!
We are so proud to have been able to contribute to this awesome initiative and will certainly keep an eye out for the rising stars we know will come out of events like this.
